Notes : Windswept madness in the Bay Area so off to Cap where the tide was right and the wind offshore. nice swell coming in everywhere. it was not to big and definitely not too small. I surfed good – but wish I had surfed a little bit better- more a problem of positioning and wave selection more than anything else- there were too many times that I was just too far inside to connect with the really righteous rights coming through- I also was waiting for the really big ones to swing wide – and thus hop on the large shoulders- but I should have stayed right in the pod where everyone else was- eventually I smarted up and did just that – but by that time the really nice set waves had mostly ceased to be as the swell had died down in my second hour- still a good happy sesh.
