Notes : Flat up and down the coast at the most popular spots. I thought hook would be better but it didn’t really have any well groomed nuggets coming through. There was a wave at 38th and PP – but it was packed up there. Even Hook was packed for a flat day. I wound up paddling over to Sharks- All told I availed myself of two waves of any real substance – and surfed well. other than that it was not that great. first time SC dogged in a long time…

Notes : flattish from north to south. a little left was happening just north of the A lot pump house. but the peak ws kind of shifty – so it was a lot of hunt and peck – and luck- to find yourself in the exact position that opened up a nice little shoulder. by the end of the hour that left had shut down and it switched to the right. fickle Neptune…

Notes : micro- but clean – glassy. hunt and peck for a soft little corner that would stay open. not many folk in the water – just to small.

Notes : Overcast. Windless. Micro. Glass. A little bump in front of the A lot pump house. I would say 72% of what came through was a tomahawk closeout. But the remaining percentage was quite nice and ridable. Trouble was trying to pick those winners. It was all about reading the waves. I did so-so…

Notes : haven’t surfed so awful in what seems like a very long time. really small. plus very annoying onshore. there were corners to be had- I just couldn’t get in the right positions for anything notable ride-wise. Studio finished painting as well as floors…

Notes : CREEK PEAK repeat. But much smaller but with just as many people. Also the take off spot had narrowed so you really had to be in the “slot” Still managed some okay here and there’s through out the two hours. Then the line up got a little locally toxic – so knew it was time to exit. Day 3 at LAMMYS up in glee park. Apartment painting and floors by Juan Carlos should be finished by tomorrow…

Holy shit that was a thrill

It was the CREEK PEAK right and left and 14 people on it at 730 in the morning!

It kept building in size and more people showing up

Every wave was like a challenging kook avoiding slalom course

A woman in the impact zone hit me in the ankle- i narrowly missed her

Surfed really well – 20 waves so say DAWN PATROL. day 2 of stay at lammy

s while flat is painted and floored

Notes : Partly cloudy. mostly sun. clean. 25 at the creek peak. at dox only 5. it was great – slower and softer – but still the occasional set wave was juicier. I surfed great- confident and with grace and wacky style.

Notes : Overcast but relatively clean. The Creek Peak was working. I focused on the left at first – which was a mistake. I wasn’t sure – out in the lineup- if the Right was also working. I paddled over and asked R and he said “it is”. So I waited. Indeed there was a right that stayed open if you picked the right wave. I managed two very nice rights – well worth the price of admission.
