Notes : Wow – that was pretty damn good. Really clean nice Rights at the Taco Bell / Pandibar. Further South at the Creek was also working where there was a contest going on called “Kooks and Spooks”. Really mellow crowd – T. E J. J – but it wasn’t really crowded. I think this was due to the fact that everywhere was working – from the roundhouse to the Creek – about the only spot that seemed dead flat was dox. I loved the waves – small glassy close to shore rights – very mellow – I couldn’t get out – 2 + hours and now Im aching…

Notes : Gray and overcast. In early at the dox and it was very good. Some nice long waist high warblers coming through. Strange I couldn’t catch anything for almost a half hour – then – either I caught fire or the waves started coming in more consistently and it became wave after wave- working on the outside despite the high tide. good session…

Notes : Giving it the double 4’s because of one wave- my fifth. Among the most perfect glassy shoulder high pieces of dox perfection I have ridden all year. It never gave up- almost all face and an amazing double record breaker – distance 1062 feet!! Speed 26.7 mph. It was a “holy shit” Linda Mar wave. The rest of the session was pretty damn good. Nearly empty lineup – just M and B and A and a few other here and there soft top jockeys. Go figure…

Notes : Well it w3as the calm before the atmospheric storm. Taco Bell to Dox was jam packed and it was big – with big mean sets. I was on the fence but suited up. I paddled out hugging the shore – hoping a set wouldn’t come through. I made it out and then paddled more North – away from the prime inside dox pod of 25 or so people. There I waited – hoping something would swing wide. Basically planted in the no mans land between dox “formal” and the Right at the “creek” – frequently you can grab a set left here and it converges with someone coming down the line on the Right. I was nervous because it was too many people in the impact zone – I aborted many a take-off. Finally a set wave swung by with an open flight path. A great crumbling shoulder high wave that had 3 sizable and ridable re-forms for a record breaking 640 feet. With that I was on shore and GOT THE FUCK OUT…
