Notes : Surfed like shit. Waves were just ho hum close out stuff – but I couldn’t get into anything- the board just felt too floaty – causing me to miss wave after gettable wave like a rank KOOK. I FINALLY MANAGED ONE NICE SET WAVE- and once on a nice face I must admit – the board is sensitive and really goes fast …

Notes :Well – the longest break in years. What with NYC – then Covid- and then historic non stop CA rain turning the entire south end  into a brownish cesspool – it was better to stay away. Today was the debut of the new board – surfed like shit except for the last 20 minutes where I got some nice fast zippy rights. The board rides fast- but it feels almost epoxy like floaty. It also feels light and thin – which I like- don’t know why it feels so floaty…
