Notes : Foggy and overcast but there were offerings in front of Taco Bell. I worked hard this session – stayed in a long time paddling to and fro thinking my next wave I’m really going to surf it well. however – I generally surfed hodgepodge – not really good but not bad either … just meh…

Notes : Wow- nice small clean waves – foggy but more or less glassy. I managed to catch a fair number of waves – my problem was I perform ed POORLY on the waves I caught. I did manage a couple of rides where I hung on and managed to punch through a couple of small sections by using some fancy footwork- but overall – could of surfed better -a borderline *** – but settled down to a **

Notes : Foggy but still. Windless. It looked really good – but in fact things were closing out mostly. There certainly were corners – but I was surfing like goombah  – couldn’t really convert any of the available corners into rides…

Notes : Misty and cloudy – but glassy and nice knee to shoulder stuff at the dox. very nice easy glides – only five of us in the lineup- fog burned up by the time I exited – good session and surfed well for 75% of the session – in control

Notes : SC and hemmed and hawed about where to go = Capitola – naw- hook – naw. then back up to the hook – naw. just surprisingly flat. finally drove up tp pleasure – parked by Ashleys and paddled out. there was a wave there at first point – but it was warbly and wishy washy. At second point things started to finally break so I got a few bites of the apple- over two hours of work for some so so waves – but very nice day and drive down…

Notes : Wow- cloudy and misty. no real wind to speak of -looked like just a bunch of chopped up mush everywhere. not many folks out. however I noticed a gaggle at the dox – and it seemed like – yea there is something there- so I suited up. when I got there – up close and personal – it was really good- kind of lumpy lefts – but nice form – waist to head high coming through. I surfed really well – very good wave selection and pop ups – from start to finish. last wave held a very good hood ornament. just goes to show – sometimes – even looking at dox from the B lot – its possible to mis judge what is really out there. great session.
