Notes : Back to Privates with Tina- beautiful AM fide on 1. super low tide at privates. just me and a couple of SUPS out. Sets still came and I was the only one there to get them. lined up with the staircase. eventually folk showed up as the tide started to rise opting to go to the main point at privates. in the distance Sharks looked kind of big.i stayed put at the staircase waiting for the barreling set waves to SWING WIDE leaving me with that open shoulder . god I scored a number of them- I kept ahead of sections and really rode the end of the board – riding REAL high and IN THE POCKET on the set waves. my last wave gave me the four- I made threee sections – and made those because I kept in the critical pocket – riding high and tight- that last wave – I don’t know how I made it through those sections onto the open shoulders – I was sure I was gonna get blown off the wave by the lip – but I made it thru each time…

Notes : my god- almost double 4’s again at privates. again not out bu the main point but straight out ion front of the stairs. when the glass wave would swing wide I was there for it. I got 3 nuggets where I got section after section – right on the lip inches from the nose for long periods before I had to back up, cut back and then hit the line again. With J and K from the mar in the mix cause the mar was a nightmare…

Notes : Wow – it looked like nothing from the lot. mushy close out. but it surfed a whole lot better than it looked. nice little corners. just me T , J and M in the line up – the four of us – trading off waves- great sesh   – eventually two other paddled out – but very clubby and fun

Notes : cold. misty. overcast. junky mushy and jumbled up. also scrambled. but there were some wedges at “middles” C and J were suiting up so I decided to go for it. surfed kind of poorly. should have stayed inside instead of waiting for a set wave. but I did get two waves that were almost half way decent…

Notes : overcast – surface chop- a little bit of an onshore but the peak was in front of the a lot pump house. further up north they were scooping the dead what back into the surf and trying to then tow it out to sea. very nice little wedges – both right and left. the peak was somewhat crowded – M and D and many others- BB on a longboard which was strange to see. watch says 14 waves. my last ride was killer. 278 feet – 20 seconds of ride time- found two nice sections on the wave – really got to the tip…

Notes : Nice and pleasant wind free session at dox. watch says 12 waves. the first hour was best- but all in all surfed pretty well and surprisingly – not that crowded considering we just had a week of insurable onshore. when I got out there was a dead whale causing a ruckus on the north end. it was slimy and gelatinous with a weird off green color- not that big – but impressive nonetheless
