Notes : A little overcast with peaks by the A lot where everyone was. However just a little north of the A lot pump house was a killer right- glassy and deceptive – because a lot of times it looked like the shoulder was gonna stay open but it would turn into a closeout. but those that stayed open it was great- shared the stage with B and J only on the peak for about 45 minutes before other folks joined into our “secret” spot for the morning…

Notes : Back at the scene of the crime , but it was with diminished offerings . There were however some jerky-jerky crumbly knee to waist high lefts and rights  that you could quick step into puzzle piece rides – left for a bit – then hard right for another bitty section that landed you practically on dry sand … sunny blue skies – compared to east coast which just had a historic storm of 24″ of snow…

Notes : Holy Shit – gonna go with the rare double fours. Right in front of the A lot pump house – very sweet rolling and rollicking Rights. it was a full on “left go right” situation and once you were IN THE POCKET it was easy to get right up on the nose. great session and surfed well -plus good crowd and not that many folk- B , D , M and a few other friendly souls – magic…

Notes : Wow- pretty damn near perfectly groomed waist to head high waves coming thru at dox. really nice shape- plus the shoulder was staying open and not converging into a closeout with the Creek Right. I failed to get the absolute perfect outside set wave that I really wanted- but I managed a few very nice rides…

Notes : overcast choppy mix at the dox with the occasional open shouldered wave pushing through – surfed poorly overall – only one decent wave – my last – a puzzle piece knee high meandering thing that took me this way and that as I used some footwork to press all juice out of the lemon peel…Stats/Video :

Board : clear and clean. deceptive. like a lake and then a set would come in and explode in a tomahawk closeout. in between there were nice big chunky wedges. I got one nice wave- but generally couldn’t quite connect- it was hard to pick them- it was so overloaded that a nice clean wedge you thought would stay open would just collapse into a  closeout…

Notes : Less said about this session the better. clear blue skies – and there were corners that were open – I just was in the wrong place at the wrong time for every wave. Should have paddled further up North where folks had a blast…
