Notes : my god was it foggy. there was a right and a left in front of the a lot pump house. I couldn’t really connect – and flubbed some really nice glass waist high walls because I was outta position or chose wrong. still not that bad session. the fog burned off in record time. back in the lot post session changing back into my work clothes – it was deep blue skies with all the fog pushed out to sea far far in the distant horizon…

Notes : Pretty damned good in front of the A lot pumphouser- this rambling soft right was coming through and my first half hour I got a number of them – about waist high – good sesh.

Notes : Looking at it from the B lot most would say rubbish. relatively flat on the south end – at least too flat for dox. the waves that did come in seemed to be uniformly close – outs. However if you watched for a while a wave would come in at Taco Bell that had a very sharp open corner. I hit it. scored a number of little racers that stayed open – allowing me to race down the face before it all closed out. one wave in particular sprang up – a waist high wedge that I was in the right spot for – it stayed open for a nice little chunk of face time

Notes : To quote noted surfer Lady Macbeth: “out out damn … king high tides” . I’m so sick of the high tides- nevertheless surfed thru one at dox – had to stay way inside – but did manages a few okay rides  – despite the swampy lumpy and dumpy mass of water …

Notes : It looked a lot better than it surfed – at least for me. It was clean and powerful on the south end – very Lully. but clean open wedges would come by every now and then. I just couldn’t connect with them. I would miss a nice open wedge and paddle over to where it broke – then the same open wedge would show up at the spot I just left. no discernible peak – just hunt and peck. I landed one open shoulder that was okay – was thankful for that…
