Notes : Flat at Linda so knew i had to spiral down. when I got to 41st the lot was full. 38th was jam packed and 41st 1st and second peak were also crowded. overall conditions were small but clean and well groomed- windless and cloudless. after watching a while i decided to go in at 41st but paddle down to Sharks where there were fewer people. definitely a better move. a wait but very nice clean gliders. 3 or 4 really good longboarders in the lineup. plus ashley was giving a lesson. my last wave was long and i realized the SIZE had increased and it was a long paddle back to 41st. NOT a position you want to be in. if it had been bigger it would have meant trouble. reminder to self never do sharks on a rising tide

Notes : pretty dang good at the dox and not that crowded because everyone was at the Creek Peak which – admittedly- was looking pretty good but too crowded

Notes : everyone was crowded at the creek peak so I went to the dox. good move. for the first hour just me and two other picking off shoulder size glass- some very nice rides. last half hour it got crowded- seemed like a lot of folk also paddled over from the creek peak because it was just tp crowded

Notes : Well it was the chill out. It was cloudy foggy, onshore and really really small. there was a little right and left where you could get a ride- but you had to be on your game. I had six in my heat and didn’t surf that well. I did however come in 4th getting me into the salami round at 1pm. after my heat I went up north and found a little right that was actually okay. for my 1pm heat I actually surfed okay. my last wave was a nice little left and I did a spinner and finished the wave goofy foot. curious to know results. there were two salami rounds – about nine 4th place finishers
