Notes : Very challenging conditions- closeout jumbled mess – with a little bit of power that walloped. Was on the edge of baggin it. S2 was havin none of it. Went in between the creek and Taco Bell b/c there seemed to be an occasional closeout that had a makeable corner. Made a few speedy sections which was fun. Later went to Tedtlk w/Tina – cool lecture on history of the words sustainable development

Notes : Overcast with rainbow in the sky over the creek. Supposed to be big wednesday but it was a dud-close out city. There was swell -bigguns breaking at the point – A2 said OB “was mackin at 10ft” Spied a rogue wave over by boat dox with one lone SUP grabbin it – so I suited up. Turned out not bad – 15 minutes wait for sets – which had only 3 or 4 waves per. Biut the were well groomed and sizable. Got out just as the high tide totally swamped it out

Notes : Bruised blue overcast sky- looked mushy from the nearly empty B lot. should have parked in the A lot because the only peak was between taco bell and A lot pumphouse. The wave had more to it than it looked – offered up some nice sections – both left and right especially if you got in early – surfed very well

Notes : Heavy fog and super high tide at 8 AM. + actual high tide wasn’t for another two hours. Hard to see from the B lot-but shadows could be seen by the creek. + the sun was trying to burn through the shroud. there was swell – but with so much water it jacked up because water was coming back out from the shore -creating this illusion that they wave was not breaking – then wham it jacks up and breaks. You had to be in the right spot to grab one-then with the momentum- the peak rolled right and left – got some nice weird lumpy rides. when i got out i surfed far in because the tide was so high – ending up on the rocks in the front yard of outermost boat dox fishing shanty- the one right next to the creek

Notes : Taco Bell peak. Best early on-the it started to fade. The point was breaking -massive, clean and well groomed. But the big boys weren’t paddling out to it. After the mesh I drove up to the top of pedro point where it deadens and you look down into the sheltered cove with rundown beach shanties. From that perspective you could see the swell coming in perfectly. In fact if you paddled out from that cove – it’s pretty short paddle to the point- just like around the corner and you are in the lineup – this is as opposed to paddling out to the point from boat dox which seems like a mile long paddle. Problem is there is no parking up there. Also you have to walk down town million stairs to get to the cove. Anyway – a great vantage point. No one was surfing it because the wave was breaking right on the rock then peeling right – so it was like a suicide take off… saw a massive whale stroll past – heading north and blowing steam

Notes : Overcast, foggy.Rather heavy on the north end. From the parking lot it seemed very promising – especially over by the creek which was rather packed. In reality didn’t really score as anticipated- some nice ones but alot of hunt and peck for corners. Closeouts were heavy-esque
