Notes : In the pre dawn of the parking lot folk were already suited up and heading to the dox. but i watched and watched and couldnt discern any wave of substance. the creek seemed to be just closing out. When the sun came up and shed more light i could see a little better – but still it looked like nothing. i suited up anyway and headed for the dox. When I got in front of the dox a bunch of waves rolled in – really nice crumblers both inside and outside. Why had I not seen them from the parking lot? did they just start? anyway i paddled out and it was very good – sat outside and picked off wave after wave. my wave selection was very good but i was a tad wobbly on the waves themselves- still a great session. afterwards i got back to the lot and D and M SUPers said “was it any good” when i told them it was a great sesh they were incredulous. indeed i watched with them and again from the lot it looked like nothing – they said – ok we’ll go in cause you said so but i dont see any waves. halloween – maybe they were ghost waves??

Notes : clean ish conditions but lumpy swell – big on the sets. clear sky. to may folk in the water that were unprepared for the waves. you had to get in early and race to a corner to get the ride – if not you were just jack hammered with your board and you flying into the lineup of people paddling out. there were many waves that i paddled for that i went right up to the edge and then aborted – they folded over into a closeout chasm. i managed to score a nice big clean wedge finally – a left which the reformed into a right and the i got out

Notes : it was big and lumpy dumpy. paddled out at dox and it was a whitewash chore. i thought i was going to score with an outside el bombo- but i was never in the right position. always either too close in or too far out- finally got something on the inside and called it- didn’t surf bad just didn’t position myself well in the chaotic jumbled up wedges that were breaking all over the place

Notes : at the creek with gina and kevin the first 45 minutes were pretty good – nothing spectacular but some open rights coming thru here and there. that night went with tina lammy dee and gina for a great meal at the blue plate- came up with the shame dome- an LED laser that hangs over a restaurant table and reminds people when the are talking too much or too loud or when others are bored of what they vare saying etc

Notes : headed to outside boatdox and got got some nice little lefts, then fellow rats gina and kevin arrived – they stuck mostly to the inside – kev on finless foam and gina on her new al longboard. i should of stuck on the inside because the outside waves just stopped- had a dry spreel for almost the last 45 minutes. finally caught one in and went to0 work. that night joined tom dee and gina and tex and chris halloween party in bayview. great fumn with spooky food and bluesy jams. dee went as georgia o keefe . i went as Jeffrey lee van morrison pierce. great fun

Notes : G in town and we met at the B lot. toss up between hittin the creek like all good rats do or making a go of it at ole dox. Opted for the latter. First twenty minutes were kind of frustrating. nothing really pushing through – plus a slight surface chop on the water. then however things opened up and some stuff started to roll in with some more frequency. wound up getting enough little lines to merit a three – we both wound up having a pretty good sesh…

Notes :  really foggy. clean but kind of jumbled up. i noticed the right staying open by the creek – but there was a gaggle of people there. the crew opted for boatdox which was odd. did they see something I didn’t. i went to the creek. every person there could not surf so i had the pick of the litter. very nice small clean rights. J paddled over finally so it was two of us getting the waves. my last ride was very nice- very clean little bump right on the precipice of the board – surfed it right into rock garden

Notes : it was clear sky- clean ocean and no real waves. there was dribbles in front of the creek. went in because i thought i could nab something. 1 hour and nothing but meek closeouts. last wave was nice however- very clean and close to shore but stayed open from the creek into rock garden- that wave made the sesh a two

Notes :  got to Linda early and watched and waited in the pre dawn twilight. was going to bail but there was a crumbly sort of haphazard left-hander in from of the a lot pump house amid all the closeouts. glad I went in got some nice little bites of the apple and surfed well
