Notes : Cowells- mellow and soft peak. Not many folk on it at 9am for a saturday. In an hour two surf schools came in (one for kids w/disabilities) so it got mucho crowded. Also wind picked up making a chop and shifting the peak haphazardly making it harder to pick off a shoulder. Still some pretty great rides…

Notes : Down to Cowells. B6 and crue in the lineup. soft peak but clean and crisp. i sat outside and waited. such a great wave even on a nothing day. Coming out met some more Linda mar folk who had spiraled down for the glide (linda was a 30 mph onshore victory at sea mess)

Notes : Couldn’t decide Capitola, Hook or Cowells. Cap seemed flat from the cam – but report seemed to suggest Hook would be uncomfortably large. Went to Cowells straight away- good call – nice size glassy peaks. Such a different wave than the hook or Cap. The right can be racy and short -it peters out – but lots of fun. Then you can catch the outside one – it keeps rolling -like malibu- Also there are so many TIERS at cowells. Far outside people ride overhead waves to about 100 yards from the peak where I was sitting. They then reform. And where I was sitting was outside (of the inside peaks) Lots of great women surfers in the lineup. I snagged a 365 yarder – a record on the trace- truth be told the last 100 yards or so i really milked the wave-it was lapping at my thighs- most loggers would have kicked out at 250 yards…

Notes : LINDA WAS 30 MPH ONSHORE MESS. Cap was nice and mellow. A lot of folk in the water – but when I got out there found that almost all were not very good. Had a 317 harder which is a record for length so far…

Notes : Boat dox. onshore winds and messy. Hella sea foam- but wedges powering through – with size. Waited 40 Minutes before I got my first wave. But it was a nice size wedge- got a bunch more right after that. Worked out better than it looked from the parking lot

Notes : not many folk out when i got there. Went out again at the A lot pump house. Right off the bat got two sweet rides – petulant wedges that held up. After an hour went down the beach to the creek cause it had died off in front of the pump house. The wind picked up and switched to crazy offshore- instantly- a giant mess- then started raining- my board was flying out of my hand- but there were waves by the creek – it was crazy and changed so fast
