Notes : I got there early enough to figure I could seize on the creek peak before its got too slammed. . I was right in the first 30 minutes I nailed 3 or four nice lefts. then the crowd came … then the sun glare came up with folks sit-in right in the impact zone. I paddled over to the dox which was empty except for Brendan and two others. super nice glass coming through- I held out outside and picked off some gems for a full hour. t hen it got piled up with folk. almost a four star…

Notes : well everyone was at the peak in front of the creek which seems to be the “in” place to be seen this season. boatdox looked like nothing but I knew something was coming thru – two people in the lineup so off to the dox I went- very nice session that picked up as soon as I got out there. waited way outside for a long long time (20 minutes) and a glass wall would come up – I got about 3 of those …

Notes : creek again. clean and windless. it was a wait for a wave but better than closeouts up north. my last ride was killer right – from about taco bell into the creeks rock garden. nice to end session on a really solid wave…

Notes : everyone was north of the a lot peumphouse cause it looked flat at the creek – but it t’werent. i studied real hard an seen some pure glass shoulders come thru – i went there- long wait between surfable shoulders but worth it.

Notes : labor day crowd – so went for the dox again instead of the better groomed peak at the creek- still very nice. at end of session paddled over to the creek because “later on when the crows thionned out I was just about to do the same” and got a couple – but by then conditions had deteriorated

Notes : everyone was at the creek peak and it was happening – solid size clean shoulders. too many shortboarders so I went to the dox. nearly empty . VERY SOLID session. after an hour almost alone it got packed.

Notes : Onshory- jumbled up- but some not small chunky wedges coming thru at boat dox and near the creek. bit of a chore paddling out. Wave of the session definitely goes to Fire Tim who took off on a mid size left near the creek – the wave king of walled up and he tucked into the curl into an absolute KLASSICK cheater five position- screaming down the line – right in the curl – seemed like forever- perfect form- the wave was all foamed up so it was crazy white. thing was his ENTIRE BODY seemed to be near the end of the board- not just his front five- he was not stretched out to get the cheater five-like a full body nose ride. on my last wave it was a big ole chunky wedge. soon after take off i tripped ONTO MY BOARD. held on and body boarded. then got back up and a whole new pure glass faced section opened up in front of me…
