Notes : Closeouts from north to south. Actually 95% closeouts – 5% had rough yet ridable shoulders/ corners. Exactly one semi decent wave. Many waves were – abort at the last mili second tomahawk closeouts. A kook went over the falls behind me on a set wave that I barely scratched over and his 9’8″ Stewart longboard snapped in half…

Notes : Jumbled up and overcast. But here and there some chunky wedges would come thru with some nice open puzzle piece shoulders would come through. I didn’t perform that great but did manage a few here and there open sections that were racy and fun – including one wedge that I basically fell down with my board- but somehow landed on my feet on the board and it opened up into a open section that let out in the middle of Rock Garden…

Notes : A soft double three’s. Mainly when I first got there it was clear and windless and mostly flat except for a beautiful peal just north of the A lot pump house. Primarily a sharp steep right that you had to pop up on right quick to get on the curl. only about 10 or so on it – so it was very good for about 35 minutes – then like a mirage it sort of disappeared – then it just hunt and peck amongst the close outs…

Notes : I spent a lot of time in the water paddling to and fro with not much to show for it. Started on the south end and the first 15 minutes were okay – then I just couldn’t catch shit. after an hour I got out and walked up North. There it was 85% brutal tomahawk close outs. the other 15% were pretty nice sizable racy shoulders – the problem was getting to that 15%- I managed one nice racy open left. the rest of the time I paddled for something and it was “abort -danger – closeout” and pulled off the wave at the last possible millisecond as it POWER DUMPEED INTO A LOW TIDE SHORBREAK…
