Notes : Sort of a repeat of yesterday. Mostly flat on the South end and a nicely groomed yet Lully right at or around the A lot pump house. A kind of peeler at times where – if you grabbed it at the right spot – it offered a nice speedy ride. Nice crowd of M , T and A and other folks – the peak was relatively crowded. I surfed marginally better than yesterday – but still – bad wave selection – poor paddling – blown opportunities – being in the right spot at the wrong time – then paddling over to the wrong spot at the wrong time. still had two well performed waves – the rest of my rides were dismally performed kook garbage…

Notes : Surfline oddly had it as FLAT. However I knew it would not be at all. Strong offshore – more or less flat on the Soth end  but bigger stuff on offer at Crespi. Action was right in front of the A lot pump house- a knee to shoulder high peeler would come through that was nicely groomed – However I couldn’t really connect- it was like I was reading the waves in Braille. I blew wave after wave and generally just looked out – very frustrating. I had once very nice right where I grabbed some nice tip time – was able to get about six inches from the nose- besides that ride – and a couple of others that were so so – it was a feeble performance on a nicely groomed day.

Notes : Lumpy dumpy and jumbled up mush mosh. but they sun was out and GraiGrai and Phoenix were along. Phoenix used the green Ashley llx board and we got paddle technique down and body placement on the board – and how to punch thru a breaking wave with a longboard by holding the board under your arm and diving under the oncoming wave – also some etiquette here and there’s. I got one or two jumbled up trash rides – fun AM with Zsofi on the cell from Budapest!!!

Notes :  Mostly flat on the south end. heavier on the north end. there was a little bump in front of Taco Bell – it was a little bit better groomed than yesterday- I managed 3 or 4 decent little rights that were fun

Notes : Pretty flat from north to the south end. I was gonna bag on it when a series of small close to sure clean ridable nuggets came thru in front of Taco Bell. suited up. For the first 20 minutes there was a nice little bit of a left at Taco Bell. then it shut down HARD- zilch nada nothing but lumpy close outs. deteriorated rather quickly…

Notes : Clear blue skies. Windless. A brisk 52 degrees with a water temp of 58. Some very nice dox here and there’s. After a while I moseyed over to the creek – I had not gone there straight off because it looked a bit to crowded and the close outs on the sets were a daunting. however , I waited and found a couple of speedy rights…

Notes : Clear blu skies. Windless. Molly glassy but flat. Up north near Crespi there seemed to be a little bump with a pod of 4 or 5 so I suited up. It was real nice – soft and mellow little rides . D paddled by to tell me and T that the day before – in the afternoon – two folks had drowned right by the A lot pumphouse. hadn’t heard anything about it, looked it up and it turned out to have happened not Thursday BUT Sunday. two boogie boarders. one died – not two, it never ceases to amaze me how stories about sharks, shark sightings and drownings are almost ALWAYS wrong. I guess that is because they are always hearsay upon hearsay – and why evidence was always one of my most difficult subjects with the hearsay Rule with its 20 odd exceptions…
