Notes : Small. Soft. Relatively clean. Very low tide. Only about four of us at dox. But hot damn if some little sets didn’t come through – allowing for a nice little ride. Got my fill. It’s so funny- you really had to just wait and watch. It wasn’t a long wait – maybe 5 to 7 minutes- but then this little 4 or 5 wave set would come through. Then it would revert to looking like flat nothing – piss poor. (At least that’s how it looked from the B lot.) You really had to be sitting out there and waiting in the mix – when the wave would come you would be – “shit – not bad!”

Notes : clear skies. windless – bit slight surface chop – tina along for the ride and hiking up on the hill to see the amazing wild flowers. the session? my god a performance catastrophe – embarrassing sub-kook display of long hard ineptness. the waves were just warbly sort of annoying things that would quickly Peter out – especially when they would hit a knee high sand bar – fucking up any ridable section you were trying to squeeze out of the thing. still some outside set waves would come – they were nice – solid sections that broke before the aforementioned sandbar. only problem – I was in the wrong place at every time one of those set waves came through. either I was to far inside – or I was too far outside- or I was too far over on the left from the peak- or I was too far over on the right from the peak- or the few times I was at the right place at the right time – a paddle boarder would snag it – or some kook was bobbing right in front of me- beautiful day though…

Notes : clean.  clear. windless. some nice little here and there’s at the creek peak. nice crowd with E and L and B – who I usually only see in bolinas. as the morning wore on it got more and more crowded – still – some fun little sections coming through

Notes : Smaller and softer and gentler at the dox – first half hour was not bad – little bites of the apple – then it just got overloaded – nothing would really break – set waves – such as they were- just not coming through

Notes : NICE CLEAN little wave at dox. nice mellow crew – only about 5 of us. For some reason – with a half hour left- I decided to paddle over to Taco Bell. big mistake. more people and almost everything was a closeout. I should have stayed put at the dox….

Notes : not quite as big or as nice as yesterday – but still some glassy numbers coming through. this time only 5 of us on the peak at dox. everyone else was over at the creek. Snagged some really nice set waves early on – beautiful glassy open faced lefts that I surfed well. however as the tide filled further in – docx really shut down. I got one last little wave and got out- everyone that had been at dox was busy migrating over to the creek where it had gotten alot better by the look of things as I walked over the rocks back up to the car in the B lot…

Notes : Wow – pretty good solid waves at Dox. Wide breaking – coaster – sort of easy to get into – they gave a wide berth so you didn’t necessarily have to be at a critical peak – you could be off to the side and still get in on the action. At one point 20 people on dox- but by 830 it was whittled down to about 10 includingJ and D and a host of others. my first hour was really good – then I got in a funk for the lat 30 minutes or so. still very good session.
