Notes : Beautiful sunny windless morning. Glassy. However , it looked alot better than it surfed. Guess the swell was coming in to the south end at the wrong direction. because it seemed to me instead of 65% close outs – it was more like 78% close outs. 10% effective close outs. However I made the most of it and managed to squeeze in a few sliders – one of which yawned into a white water re-form that was not half bad – for a re-form – that was white water. – also got wiped out brutally as well…

Notes : Probably the less said about this session the better. Just could not convert anything. No MOJO – but a very nice beach day…

Notes : At Taco Bell. Waiting for the outside right to swing around. In almost two and a half hours I got only two solid Rights. Both caught on camera and set to the Oh Sees. Both were in the beginning of the session. After those two rides – the remaining 1 hour and 45 minutes was virtually NADA. Why? Either A: NOTHING CAME MY WAY – NEGLECTED BY NEPTUNE. Kassia Meador WOULD NOT HAVE CAUGHT A WAVE. or B: I FELL INTO A BLACKHOLE OF KOOK-DOM.

Notes : Not bad at the creek. Finally back in after some rain. It was A-ok at the creek and managed to pull off a couple of 300 footers. Nothing breath taking about the session – solid- not over whelming and not under whelming
