Notes : Cesar Chavez day off so spiraled down South for the sesh. Long tome no see Santa Cruz but forecast lined up for the type of session I Like at SC – mainly Low Tide and Small to Very Small (0-2 feet). Sure enough- Hook was only six people in and around about second bowl – every now and again perfect little 1 – 3 footers coming in – bigger on the sets. It filled up as the tide started to come in – b ut I surfed confident and strong – good pop ups and sharp turns – good work up to the nose. I called the session early because none other than the “Dunder” came roaring into the lineup – bloviating surf adjacent blather like Mt. Vesuvius. It was okay though – had my fill…
