Notes : when down in the afternoon and was not is surprised to see the beach crowded. folk not entirely following six feet social distancing protocol. as numbers come in I wonder if the order will included outdoor activity -like surfing biking as in Spain and Italy and now France. mostly your folk – two couples together playing cards on a shared beach blanket. otherwise family units strolling and sticking together. there was a lot of kooks in the water on a nothing peak up north so I said no. on ride home listened to Gavin Newsom press conference – he spoke effectively- a number of reporters asked about folk not following SIP orders – as to enforcement GN sasid we are following social pressure to conform – as of now.

Notes : Clear and calm. Flat but for a gentle micro peak in front of the A lot pump house. Beach and lot was nearly empty. 5 of us on the peak -including S- stepping into little log rollers. Notes : God -on the sets-it was perfect hollow lefts just N of the pump house. Really short board waves – hollow fast action. I got exactly one of them and whoo – what a ride – kept giving and giving- all down the line. it was not to be repeated – I kept misjudging the set wave and took the in between which had less power – but not that bad. Talked for a while about sf theater condition in SF given CV. Feds need to start cutting checks…

Notes : Afternoon corona virus surf. raining g in the morning but in the afternoon things had settled down. it was really nice- some great sections b breaking – and not small- some really good long boarders out in the mix as well – great sunset sesh

Notes : Back at the dox- and it was clear – and bigger and more crowded. some nice ones that were breaking outside – it really kind of glassed off in. the hour I was out there.

Notes : Really foggy and hard to see the waves. But when it lifted a little bit I could see there was something out there. It turned out to be better than expected – some real nuggets- you had to get in real early and then you had a decent ride- surfed a few where I was super perched on the end of the board – right in the critical curl – perched in mid air. God that board really stands up! its like it elevates…
