Notes : It was flat at boat dox. sort of flat at pandas and TB. So I went a little north. Not quite as far as the “Crespi Covid Cluster” (CCC = my new nickname for the folk that park on crespi – enter Linda Mar at crespi- then just blindly paddle out at crespi no matter what the conditions.) So I basically stayed a tad north of the  A lot pump house. There was J – and there was a Right – and it was a tad meaty. However for half an hour I could not connect. Very frustrating. Kept mis paddling and blowing waves. However, the second half hour I “locked” in and got what the wave was doing. Four very nice substantial right handers – speedy – thrilling and thick. Each wave ended by flattening out (vs closing out) so it was like you were coming off a roller coaster and then flattening out on a straight away – still standing on your board…

Notes : Another case of little right slivers – close to shore from the creek to Taco Bell. Big ole pod up north again at creepi – what I now call “CRESPI CLUSTER”. Everyone just parks on creeps blvd and enters the mar at the creeps entrance – they then just surf right where they enter the beach. I stayed far away – all the way down south – just waiting for the little gliding gem to come by once every 10 minutes…

Notes : Everyone was up north at Crespi. Nice little slivers in front of Taco Bell – few people so I opted for that  – a bit Lully but every now and again a nice little close to shore trim action…

Notes : Parked in should bring lot then walked with board in bag and flip flops down to beach.Clean but swamped out. A large pod of surfers were all the way down at Crespi. I think this is because the majority of people are now parking on creeps street then walking in through the creeps entrance to LM which enters on the North end. People just go straight in and don’t even look down South at boat dox. So not many people at Taco Bell – very small swamped out – yet clean rights- I managed 2 or 3 nice rides. I then decided to paddle all the way up north. C&C were there – some other really good long boarders – but a lot of folk I didn’t know – maybe ringers from OB perhaps. There was a wave – but we were all packed way too tight on the peak. People talking loose. I didn’t like it. Made me nervous. I weaved thru the pack and managed a nice right  and got out…

Notes : Clear windless  clean. Soft crumbly lines in front of the A lot pump house. Carried my board in the bag from the soul grind parking lot to the beach. surfed pretty well and managed some very nice rides – not many folk in the water at that hour. back in the lot saw T and I getting suited up. Also ? – walking her dog and deciding she was gonna do it after I told her I felt it was well worth it. again – the sand on the feet – wow – water not too cold – the stoke …

Notes : Well I went back. Both lots still closed so I went to the Traveller lot which was partly roped off. It was clear and windless. Kinda of creepy changing in that lot – feeling all co-viddy every time you put down the board or step on the ground. I was in early – folk were up north but I stayed in front of TB for a few soft must things. Then I paddled up North and found a nice left hander and got out. Saw T. on the walk back who was just getting in – I told him “I still remember how to paddle” … the sand on the feet felt nice
