Notes : overcast and foggy-Tina along. it looked like nothing from the B lot but I could tell there was something well groomed and ridable. indeed it was better than it looked. very clean little wedges- I surfed excellent- missed nothing- almost every wave I went for I got. empty weekend lineup at dox! me and 3 women. the creek was packed – but it seemed like nothing but angry close outs. great sesh .

Notes : I really fixed up the tail ding. First I sanded it down and filled it with sun cure. I let dry all day and it was hard when I came home. Then I cut out a puka patch and put it over the entire area. After that I put two strips of clear ding tape over everything. Then I put black plumbers tape over the entire area. Water tight and rock solid. this ding can wait to be repaired until I get something to big to repair myself. dox had some little knee high things that were soft yet fun

Notes : it looked like rubbish from the B lot. overcast with close outs. but the surface was clean – and it was windless for the most part. I saw a well waist high groomed set come in at the dox so I suited up. barely anyone in the water- managed to snag a few slow moving lefts that were nice. I was wrong place wrong time for every set wave unfortunately. plus I somehow managed to ding the tail of the board – two weeks before the Kahuna!

Notes : flattish so we went up a little north. dawn patrol says I got 23 waves – but 18 of them were little to no face time / close out rubbish. but I managed a few that held up for a little thrill. barbecue that night at tom and deess with tina and gina and a switchblade
