Notes : Partly cloudy / misty / foggy – the sun breaking through over the Linda Mar hills. It was all chopped up – surface chop- but some nice-ish corners. Unfortunately it felt like I was surfing with two left feet – my balance was all off and I couldn’t make any sections – DP shows a lot of waves – but they were all poorly surfed. Only had one wave where I surfed with any control. Chris in town and along for the ride – beautiful NorCal morning…

Notes : Pretty Daman good. Clear skies. Glassy conditions. Peaks from the North end to Dox – where I stopped first. Very mellow- only six people. After about 45 minutes it kind of went flat. I paddled over to the creek/pandibar where there was more of a crowd – but the right was much punchier and scored a few nice zippy rights that exited right into Rock Island…

Notes : Well we hit the Bo. Crystal clear day. Tide was too high – which was weird because I thought we would make it soon enough after low for it to be manageable and for Tina to hike on the beach. But it was swamped and still rising. Had to paddle out to the patch the patch because the second berm was swamped with crashing waves. Out at the peak it got more jam packed then I had ever seen it before. Glassy sunny – – but a battle for a chunky wedge. (Odle was there also) On top of it I was surfing shite. I caughtvone outside wave early on – almost 600 feet – two or three sections – but that was the highlight – surf wise. fish and chips at coast cafe and a beautiful drive back – took the man route back but didn’t pass the coyote on Coyote Ridge…

Notes : Hot Damn. I surfed really well. N one tips and with stances and slalom surfing avoiding soft top kooks in the impact zone. First it was the dox – very soft and mellow but managed a few. The over to the right at the creek where it was more bite to the wave. Everyone was sitting inside (except me and A) avoiding the outside set wave which came by with a fair bit of consistency- glassy and nice – dodging at all sorts of people when I powered through the inside…

Notes : There were waves ate the pandibar- crumbly things that started with juice and then kind of meandered off into nothing – occasional outsiders. Wish I was surfing better – wasn’t surfing bad per se – but wasn’t surfing good – still had a couple of nice waves. It was really my last wave that I blew – and that tends to soil the entire stoke of a session…

Notes : I was looking at the creek in the first light shadows and it just looked sort of meek and really Lully. It seemed the Right coming in just North of Taco Bell was gonna be the better option and with more juice – so I went there. Very glad I did. Rights started coming through that were crumbly – but definitely had more power and shoulder than what the Creek/pandibar was doing. The peak filled up kind box fast – but after a half hour it kind of dispersed as people migrated even further North. I just stayed put and got about three very nice quality rights- one of them I would classify as Very Good ride…

Notes : Pretty damn good at the dox. Sort of great and misty – but clean. Lully for the outside sets – but it was worth the wait when they rolled in- nice waist to shoulder high rollers. (The point was going off – giant mavericks size waves that exploded in a geyser of white wash.)not that crowded also…

Notes : At 715 pre-first light darkness the B lot was almost empty and not many cars in the A lot. Surprised to see the South end flat as a lake. I walked all the way down to the north end – at that time one person was in – and indeed there was a wave – a nice close to shore peeler – and then some bigger outside ones- nicely groomed – offering both left and right options. I went back and suited up and by the time I returned the light was out and ten people were on the peak including C and C and T. Had a good session and managed to score some beefy rights that really held up – a surprise good session given how it started in the B lot.
