Notes : SUPER LOW TIDE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE ALMOST TO GET OUT WITH ALL THE BOULDERS AND ROCKS – the surf was negligible. then I dinged the rail. I was able to sand it down at the house. then I put a puka patch on it. then I put two strips of DING ALL tape around that. Then I wrapped the rail spot with black plumbers tape. so its watertight until I get the new Ashley board … in …. ????

Notes : Pretty damn good – at least the first hour. Nailed some nice long clean faced lefts – got right up on the nose. Great crowd- M and D and B and GG and L and T. It got really really crowded at one point – 24 at dox at one point. Then after an hour it started to pour rain. Then the rain passed and the sun came thru the clouds. The crowd thinned out – but the onshore had picked up… good session

Notes : Small and soft. Clean. Nice crowd – D and M and J and M. Got some very nice waist high lefts. Definitely one of those “surfed way better than it looked from the B lot ” sessions

Notes : Wow! Almost double fours. Clear skies, somewhat glassy. Very nicely groomed knee to shoulder high rides coming through at the dox. Surfed well – with a small but really friendly familiar crowd that included M and M and C and D – who caught a magical sun rising California drenched shoulder high piece of glass as I was paddling out…

Notes : God – pretty damn good out there. most folk were at the wedge in front of the A lot pump house. But the swell was building and I knew the wedges in front of Taco Bell would start to stay open. They did and got a number of righteous rights that stayed open for a nice little while. surfed well – good session. Later that day recorded the Vox for Alexander The Not So Great ASP 2022 redux version at Stoltz…

Notes : Small. Soft. Foggy. South end flat. A wedge in front of the A lot that was steep enough to give a little juice. Everyone was on it. If they weren’t on that wedge they were further north near Crespi which had a little bit more size – but longer wait. The wedge was pretty consistent – at first. Not much of a wait – and I got some nice quick zippy rights. Then it slowed up and everyone paddled north to Crespi – which now was more consistent. But I stayed put – and just waited a little longer for the wedges to appear – with less of a crowd.
