Notes : Despite getting into the lineup by around 7 AM I still felt late to the party. Again , clean conditions , little wind and a left and right at the Creek Peak.Overall a frustrating sesh as I couldn’t score the Right – kept misjudging and bad pop up. Still a few bites of the apple. Nice crowd of regulars from T to A to J at J to etc etc

Notes : Two Rights and A Left. Sounds like an unreleased Robert Altman film from the early 70’s – but that’s what I produced this AM. It was hollower and zippier than yesterday – the lefts were actually a challenge to get into – but I grabbed a few. My last wave was a close to shore right which I surfed well and got me thinking – maybe I’m starting to get the hang of the new dove…

Notes : Finally a decent day that  wasn’t a swirling chaotic mess. Clean and windless. Nice peak at the creek – some with size. Everyone out. My best wave I slipped on the rail on the pop up – what a face it had! Wish I surfed better…

Notes : Soft and small at Cap – but enough goin g on that it was mellow and worthwhile. T from Linda was in the lineup also. Surfed well and managed to better refine my footwork on the board. Afterwards picked up the old MD which was repaired at Sonlight. MY GOD – it was so heavy it was insane. MD 2.0 is so light as to not be believed – a world of difference…
