Board : Creek peak again. Crowded but it wasn’t quite Surf War III. Odd session because sets would come through that were pretty heavy and lacking . In general the wave was more hollow and barreling. On a number of great waves I was just too deep and couldn’t manage the pop up and just held on for dear life…

Notes : A snarling, champing dog eat dog paddle battle for every glassy 3-4 foot set wave that funneled into the creek peak pod. At times, more akin to a medieval scrum of savagery with muffled shouts and braying groans as close outs pitched fiberglass, foam and kelp into a tangled tide of neoprene flesh

Notes : Clear clean crisp morning. glassy/clean. smaller than days past. dox not working and a PACK of people in the creek pod. hard to get muy mojo going. there were rights and lefts but it was quite the jockey for position – and I wasn’t quite on my game for the first 45 minutes. I settled in and finally managed to get 3 or 4 decent rights

Notes : My god that was good. Clean dox. Clear skies. Windless. Only about nine of us in the pod. Surfed really well – in control- waves allowed for some nice turns and tip time. Really classic boat dox. Then it kind of fell off a cliff – very all of a sudden – and it was gone. The action was over at the creek – dox had gone silent…
