Notes : Wild wooly and swampy. Off to a slow start but I managed to finally get going and snagged some nice ones – especially my last wave were I was pretty far up on the nose. GLARE was a big problem – basically surfing into the sun – blinding you to who was paddling out – that is why AUDIBLES are sometimes so important when paddling back out to the line up on these days “HEY HEY HEY I’M HERE”

Notes : Down to Capitol because it was onshore nightmare everywhere up North. Very clean and windless – soft but low tide – so corners were rolling in off the jetty – nothing much – but enough to buy a thrill. I started off really slow – but slowly got a groove going and managed some decent little rights – where I didn’t look like a kook

Notes : rainy and stormy offshore. but there was a really cool right upon north that I went for- after a while the peak got crowded with 21- but I managed a few nice zippy rights

Notes : Wow – that was pretty good. Just up North a little by the A lot pump house. There was one peak with clean lefts – then a little North – basically right in Front of the A lot pump house there wasa peak with clean Rights. The latter was my session batter. Pretty dang good and not that crowded – just the usual AM regulars. Instagram persson doing lindamarsurfers account was there and grabbed two of my waves – I then copied them and set it to a tune from the guy in the band Girls – his solo project https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/884621919

Notes : Sunset surf. Tina and I hiked thru the Redwood Cathedrals in the AM. Came back to cabin 11a and cooked a nice brunch.Then down to Privates – low tide. Nice waves- crowd was nice as well. But I could have surfed better. Still got some very lefts. There were classic California longboard set waves out of a picture book – but I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time to hook one. Perfect day.

Notes : Very nice clean waves on tap. After a first meandering halff hour I kind of locked in and started to hit it. I had one left – a set wave over 552 feet – kept giving up open sections – waist high – from the point past the staircase – a great ride- worth the price of admission alone…
