Notes : Not that bad. Hi tide sort of swamped it out- but I managed a few okay rights by the A lot pump house.

Notes : Clear. Relatively glassy and wind free. Flat on the south end. However up North there was a very nice little wave coming through. Everyone was gathered there. Almost all – familiar faces. Took me a while to acclimate myself to the narrow take off spot – but I eventually got there and snagged a few nice rights. I did a “turn and burn” on one set wave that was pretty large. I rarely dd “turn and burns” but I was right there for this one. It felt pretty big – I really have no idea how I stayed on the thing- once I got my bearings the wave opened up into a nice long green face…

Notes : Cleanish. Sunny. Windless. Little lefts and rights all up and down the beach. (Though the North end wa still heaving.) All in all a perfect kind of Linda Mar South End weekend December day!!!

Notes : A big old high tide wonky, warbly mess. Heaving swampy double ups- smashing into sizable backwash creating havoc on the inside. (Upending you off any line you were lucky enough to be driving down.) Miraculously, I got two Rights at the Creek/Pandibar that were mildly decent-ish. Impressive – for me -considering the challenging conditions –

Notes : Wasn’t really that bad at the dox. Glare was a problem – and the crowd. I gad a near miss on two folk that was scary. Some here and there’s that were okay – but generally a little off my game…

Notes : Wow that was special. Best performance in a while. Large waves when I first got out – so I was a little hesitant. I stayed far outside and managed to pick off a couple of heaving monsters- it was essential that I kicked out right away almost because as they barreled towards shore they folded into tomahawk close-outs. They were relatively short rides – but fast and powerful. It felt like I was far away from the pack on the inside- then the set wave would come and I would surf it from the outside to just a little bit past where the rest of the line up was on the inside. Also, almost everything I paddled for I got – about at 80%. It kind of quickly died down (the outside sets) but then still got an inside gem to end the session. Top performance day.

Notes : Blessed be the screaming wailing Christ child – I got in late – 8:30 and there was already 21 people just in the dox pod. 15 of them good long boarders. I did not get my first wave until 9:53 AM!! That is a wait of just under 1.5 hours. The waves were okay chest to shoulder high – well groomed – but the take off spot was really narrow for some reason – no shoulder hopping Johnny waves that would swing wide. Got some okay rides in my last half hour – but nothing I would award myself a Sippy Cup Trophy for…

Notes : Pretty darn tootin good at the dox. Spread out – so not super packed. Most importantly I was in the line up at 7 AM so it was fewer people. One hour later it was a different story as far as crowd is concerned. Still – it was consistent knee to chest high waves that were well groomed…
