Notes : Wow that was a lot of work to try and angle in two close to shore waves. But both of them were okay. Funny – it always feels like I’m closer to the nose when I’m surfing in critical sections than I actually am – both of these I thought I was further up on the nose than what was in fact the case…

Notes : Got one good wave to speak of and it was caught on videotape.. One, but it was nice. I blew two waves that were EPIC . One I slipped off the side of the board while already up and looking down a clean face. Second, AS I WAS popping up my left hand slid down the side of the board – on the rail where there was no wax- and I went over the front of my board before even standing up. Both waves were – big – glass faced – could have beens… great morning all in all…

Notes : Not bad in front of ole Taco Bell. Especially after the long stormy lay off. wish I had surfed better – but I managed a few. It’s a weak 3 star performance – just inched into it. Def was getting better as I was getting out and the tide was going low. As I de suited saw a bunch of nice waves come through that I MIND SURFED
