Notes : It dropped a little from yesterday but in a good way. Waves were better groomed – outside sets held up better. I went from Taco Bell to Boatdox then finally settled on the right at the creek. Waves everywhere and not as crowded. 163 yards – new record as far as distance- it was a right at the creek- rode it well from top to bottom gaining speed -something I haven’t really done before. Sunny – cloudless slight chop in the water.

Notes : Well it was huge for me- 1100 joules. Straight to the B lot which was already almost full at 815. Massive closeout slabs from Taco Bell to up North. Thus, everyone was squeezed between boatdox and the creek. Wasn’t even sure if I could punch out – but there were lulls. I watched and waited. Lots of folk in the water that should not have been there … but it was sunny and light wind so it was wall to wall floating jabronis. Timed it well and made it out fairly easily. Didn’t go to boatdox proper cause it was too crowded. Caught some girthy slabbish waves – they crumbled over and sloped on the outside (where I caught them) then reformed and went hollow on the inside. Stats show a 167 harder – new record for me. My last wave was a pretty big left which I thought I was lined up perfectly for- but it pitched up at the last second and I realized I was too deep. I hugged my board and managed to tilt it left and managed to maneuver around a section billboarding the wave – then got on my feet and caught a decent section-albeit jerboa dodging. Got out more because too many people – felt skittish and in the end wasn’t surfing as well as I should have

Notes : Today was supposed to be the day. 161 joules. But it was closeout city up by volleyballs with 30 people in the pod.T drove up next to me in the A lot. The he re strted his car. “I’m going to the B lot -its better groomed by the creek” I followed him and -of course- he was right. Not many folk but the only peak that stayed open -cleanish – sun and no fog- a couple of gems

Notes : Glassy but looked lakey coming over the hill but … Micro peak action ’round near volleyballs. Open corners stayed green for a little facetime action. Very fun. Yet again another classic “surfed better than it looked” day at Lindy

Notes : Looked like nothing but on closer inspection saw a pod of folk down on the north end – near volleyballs. They were crumbly knee to shoulder waves. if you got in early enough you could race around them. some outside sets came as well -they had a little juice -mostly the right. if you positioned yourself right you could take off at the crumble-race around the lipping whitewater and hit a nice corner section. Classic “surfed better than it looks” day at linda mar. Plus I surfed better than I have in a while – i made and milked waves better than I have all summer… 28 waves in an hour-some kind of record for me- wave then paddle back out then wave then paddle back out – almost no lull

Notes : Creek peak again. Coming over the hill looked like everything had seriously flattened out – but there was working glass mounds with a pod of 8 or so at the creek. the glassy good stuff quickly vanished at the creek but then seemed to open up more further north

Notes : Clean and partly cloudy. Some girth and power. Breaking favorably from the north end to boatdox. The North had some size with overhead faces that i saw(unless the riders were midgets) I stuck to the creek. Paddled into an outside bomb that turned into little more than a drop and right turn up the face before i realized it was about to close out detonate on me. I somehow managed to stay on – which surprised me. After the whitewall it kind of reformed into a nice rideable whitewash right

Notes : Sunny and fogless and Back to the same peak-in front of the A lot pumphouse. Clean -some light chop-less power than thursday but nothing to sneeze at.
