Notes : Pretty dang good. Went to the creek – but things were working up north by Crespi as well. Clean little lines – glassy and windless. But WAY too many people even at 8 AM. I joined the scrum. # waves right off the bat very nice. Then dry spell – maybe a half hour. A repeat of yesterday I thought?? But I decided to literally JAM ny way into the take off peak – in the middle of the pack. I started getting wave after wave-literally taking off sometimes with only one hand because the other arm would have hit a jabroni. Lots of cool little nugget rides in very challenging conditions- lots of dodging people – but I got very comfortable – felt in control of my board – surfed well

Notes : The creek- 2 great waves within the first 10 minutes. Then DEAD. Nothing for an hour. Combination of the peak dying and making poor choices wave wise. Way too may people in the water – a jerboa jamboree. Towards the end I snagged some more but more than anything abandoned the session…

Notes : Gigantic. Drove all the way down to Capitola – I knew it was a no go from the top of the hill looking down into the village. Giant lines were visible out on the ocean. Biggest I ever saw it- essentially like Mavericks. Spectators lined the quay- watching. Short boarders -and some with guns- paddled out from the beach. We watched some get caught inside and pulverized.

Notes : Quite good. Clean windless. Size on the north end towards Crespi. Everywhere south was just a little too mushy. But North waves were rifling , hollow, no room for error- no kind gentle shoulder. I couldn’t sync with the waves – couldn’t angle in at the right moment. Shorter boards were better suited. I never quite scored the ride I imagined I was going to get while angling the waves in the parking lot

Notes : Not bad. Finally cleaned up a little bit. Waves were sloshy kinda junky – but some rides. All the action was happening between Taco Bell and the Creek. It was becoming better groomed right when I got out …. cleaner and more push. had a few nice rides…

Notes : Back to Capitola. Nobody in the water. But some sweet mellow lines coming through. Long lulls. Very strong off shores – when you got into the wave – if you could work it – you got a nice ride. It was kind of slow motion rides- you had to constantly milk and jigsaw the wave together- kinda cool
