Notes : After some hemming and hawing (checking out Hook, 38thand Capitola) we all decided to go in at our original call- PRIVATES. Me Kevin (max opting out) Gina w/ Ashley on a lesson. It was foggy and hard to see the lineup and when we got out there it was just 5 Jabroni SUP’ers yammering on about the length of their paddleboards, fishing gear garden tools and car engines. It was quite a swell – on the sets they broke outside folding over pretty quick. Glassy and kelpy. Ashley got some epic and graceful rides and showed us the ropes. Gina got some killer long rides. I couldn’t connect at all but finally got a nice size bomb after one hour. redemption wave. Kevin went back in and got his finless soft top. An epic session. thrilling.
