Notes :Headin down to SC w/Tina. It was blue and windless- after much hem and haw settled on Privates. Set up directly in front of the stairs- not over to the right. It was a better move – managed to get a few nice rights that stayed open and much less of a crowd. video of the 4th at C and today below

Notes : Low tide mush- looked awful from the lot – but I could see some open corners. started at the dox then headed over to the creek where I foud my best rides – got two or three very mice nose rides…

Notes : Every spot was working and crowded. Paddled out at Cap and the immediate problem was KELP KELP KELP A few waves I had to surf around the kelp bed like people. The water was very transluscent/green so when you were on a wave you could see the giant dark mass of kelp down the line – a couple of times I just went ass over end. There was an eight to 10 wave set during the session that I missed – those waves (each were progressively bigger) were some of the nicest I have seen at Cap in a while and well over head high.

Notes : With J at the creek. Overcast – slight onshore – mush, looked like nothing – but once in a while you could see a corner. we went. it turned into a classic “surfed better than it looke sessions”. Also maybe because I was surfing strong – quick on the pop up which counted for alot…
