Notes : Another great day at the creek- racy rights – overcast but clean- I went no where for the first half hour then started surfing well – nice session. Afterwards took the board to RW to fix the tail – talked showcase board restoration and music… gave him the two tcimh cd’s…

Notes : Super strong offshore wind. As I was taking board off the rack it blew off the roof (in the bag) and flew down the B lot. When I retrieved it and opened up the bag the tail was completely cracked open. I taped up the board and went out. Only three of us out and the offshore gusts were super strong. Waves were sharp and steep – but staying way way open because of the wind. Prolly best rides I had at the dox all summer. Once you forced your way into the wave it was just open face – total stoke. Then it kind of died and STREAMS of people swarmed in. By 9 am it was almost impossible to squeeze in a ride. but those first 45 were great…

Notes : Back at the creek/piandas – sunny clean and windless. waves were actually alittle bigger but not as well groomed. it took a while to get my bearing mainly because there were alot of good surfers at the peak P and M and beard J and numerous others. However after a slow start I got somewhat of a groove back and nabbed some solid rights- especially the last half hour when the crowd had thinned

Notes : Have to go with the double 4’s. Possibly the best session at the Mar all summer so far. It was clear and windless. Action was at the creek/piandas. Nive little rights rolling in – sometimes a clean corner was shoulder high +. Glassy – and plenty rolling through – not much of a wait. very user friendly waves – easy going – but with a touch of push. Surfed best in a while – good wave selction -good quick pop ups and on the end of the board fairly quickly. Perhaps if I didn’t surf as well I might have given the waves a 3 – but the combo of waves plus surfing well upped everything…

Notes : No one was at the creek but one person. Everyone else up North – clustered. But the creek had a little lump. Glass – clear – windless. It was a wait but I nailed 4 waves in an hour and a half – nice quick corners – left the b lot at 835 and at my desk at 930. No van wyck torture drive…
