Notes : I waited until the tide dropped then went back in at 11 AM. good move. it was overcast but clean. swell was coming in at the dox and I picked off some nice outside bombs – my last wave was hectic – right on the nose – cold offshore wind blowing and making the face stand up – pretty cool…

Notes : crowded and overcast. 65% closeouts and 35% make able s – I slide in to a few but was off my game -paddled over to the dox at the end of the sash and got an alright left to end it… great to surf with Kevin and Max Odle- max is rocking it since I last surfed with him…

Notes : back to Cap / but it was not to be/ for the tide it was too low / but in I went anyway / even if it was just for show / children playing in. the kelp / they seemed all dialed in / but I took a ding right on the nose / the magic dove cried out in sin / so I packed my bags and headed out / drove as far as I knew I could / for I had to stop a ring a ding / Again with old rich Wood..

Notes : favorable tide – outside soft waist highs – lots of kelp- puzzle piece waves – slow rolling and reforming on the inside – extend-o rides if you can maneuver from one re form to the other

Notes : thoroughly serviceable session at the dox – clean and waist high – funny I felt I surfed bad – but two people thought  otherwise while I was walking back to the B lot. eye a little better

Notes : Back with the magic dove. only me and one woman in Cap. But it was clean. The inside was working. We kept saying “how Lon g before the high tide kills it.” we reckoned 90 minutes tops.  we both trade off those little inside rights. I liked it because I could get right to the nose right quick and try and perch on the nose in the inside curl. Noticed again that on these kind of soft waves when I try to make a hard left/cut back I SLIDE out and fall off. Why is that? Lack of skill or soft rails??? Or combo of both?? what in fact are soft rails- better get the surf intern on that one… exactly 90 minutes the sesh was over – high tide slamming up against the break wall
