Notes : Close outs everywhere so went up north with J. But it was too brutal – swirly strong current and hella warmly. after half hour went down south to A lot where it had cleaned up and glassed off- still a bit warmly but a number of uncut gems in the mix. still session marred by a number of poor / kooky off kilter old man pop ups…

Notes : standard issue dox day. small and soft but the occasional well groomed left. at first just me and Mg out on it. Then it filled in with regulars…

Notes : A standard okay + session at boat dox. Two things stand out. I caught a wave where I right away fell on top of the board – I then sort of boogie boarded left where the wave was breaking – got up and then slipped again – off the board – but then hobbled back open to the board AGAIN – finally got up and immediately cut left where it was still breaking and managed a ride. Last wave was a heaving left that came out of nowhere.

Notes : Clean and well groomed at Taco Bell. it was a sesh that kept getting better and better. The peak was right in front of TB and some would break right – then others would break left. On occasion a big big right would come barreling in from the outside and take everyone by surprise. No one got it. I surfed really well. A number of waves I started all WARBLY and FUNKY – almost falling off – then recovering and racing down the section. A number of waves sort of closed out right after the peak but then kept going with a wide open face – had to race around the whitewater to make the section – really cool. Tried yelling on some takeoffs to alert folk I was coming down _I went to say a word like “cowabunga” but when I try and do that it breaks my concentration and I wipe out. All I can let out is like a “whoa- whoa” which reminds me of the Dunder – which is not good…

Notes : Clean clear and breaking slightly big by Taco Bell. Dox was not really working.  The crowd was packed tightly at the peak and it was quite a number of folk given a weekday. I didn’t really connect but got some here and there’s. Sets were kind of big
