Notes : clear and windless but right bloody rubbish surf. just shore dump – meek and ugly. but I saw some angles and suited up. surprise surprise I surfed really well and found corner after corner – nice little rides

Notes : Back to Cap- hamlet of the damned. heavy with kelp on the outside.  you could tell it was thick as a swamp. however the little right – on the inside by the jetty where all the kids and beginners go was working – and was kelp free. spend’s t an hour and a half on some little zippers – dodging past kids -fathers with worried looks on there face -then last 45 minutes the kelp had dissipated so went outside for some nice clean bigger rights. captured on the crapitola cam https://vimeo.com/426846095

Notes : Holy shit. the double 4’s. Linda was absolutely insurable with 20 mph onshore. Down in the village of the damned aka the Walt Disney hells cape cartoon village of bone headed tourists who wouldn’t know a face mask if it slapped them in the head aka CRAPITOLA – it was perfection more or less. glass head high outsiders. it was a wait for the big sets – but oh when they came! wait and wait – usually just 15 minutes- then you see the shadows build as the mounds approach. those inside scramble to make it outside. I nabbed more than quite a few – perfect position – perfect selection- sets seemed to come with a package of 5 waves. wave 3 seemed to be the choice cut. I give myself a 4 mostly because of wave selection- I was well read vis a vis knowing which set wave to take…I got out at 11 am. that’s when the cap police showed up and announced over the squad loudspeaker that only people accessing the beach jogging or going into the water to exercise were allowed- no hangouts allowed – so all beach blanket bingo bozos – off the beach – that was cool I thought…

Notes : clear skies. windless. low tide. where to go? closing out at tb- and closing out at pandas the creek. then I noticed the dox . maybe just maybe. a good call. very nice small and peaceful easy waves. mellow crowd. joyful and laughing and sharing. the waves and  sesh overall was like an early acoustic  Eagles song…

Notes : clear and windless. glassy bumps on the menu from the entire 1 mile run of Linda Mar. from 630 to 645 I hemmed and hawed – the bump at pandas or the left at Taco Bell. I chose the latter and glad I did – it was kind of glorious. later that day found out about a blm protest organized by mission high students. by 530 pm they had over 10K people!! as a historical note if I read this 20 years from now … the rest of the Floyd cops were charged with accessory … Esper defied carrot brains use of the insurrection act – former dod Mattis issued a statement against he who shall not be named in a denouncing statement which slyly compared him to hitler – which news outlets have not picked up on oddly

Notes : clear blue skies. windless. glass conditions -then mounds popping up from pandas down to the north end. R was doing his thing in front of Taco Bell. that is where I went. Also K and I in the mix. caught some perfect glassy rights that were utterly ridiculous in perfection – albeit – short rides – but really great. it stayed windless and glassy for the entire session- one of those perfect cali sun kissed dream sessions …

Notes : very clean and glassy. from the b lot I saw R pippin it up. I super rushed into my suit. the peak was perfect and glassy. I managed some beautiful lefts and rights. for about 20 minutes. then it all changed. the glass left and a cross onshore came. the peak shifted over to Taco Bell- a weird wide breaking wave with all sorts of ripples and reforms on it – challenging and hard to pin down. for a few I got the wave and though – ride over- but it kind of bounced into another section
