Notes : Wow that was pretty good. It was overcast with a big huge FAT tide. But at about Middles (the spot between Taco Bell and A lot Pumphouse) there was a wave coming through that offered up a nice fat left. It was only me G, T and UM on it. The lineup up and down the beach was basically empty. Surfed well and scored a number of zippy lefts. At the end I noticed the Right was starting g to work – no one on it. it was bigger but more in frequent. I paddled over to it and waited. A head high right came my way and I was just basically two stroked too deep for it- I tried to make the drop – which I did- but I was too far behind the curl and it sort of detonated on me. Paddled back out to the right but nothing that substantive came by again- managed a chest high right that fluttered alive for 3 seconds until it just sputtered out. all in all good sesh – good waves + Empty line up

Notes : waves from the north end to the south end- nothing too big but not to small either. I had a great first 35 minutes of elegant little lefts. then the grace kind of left my surfing and I struggled like a kook – still all in all some nice rides with mostly women in the lineup so the vibe was not toxic…

Notes : Clear windless sunny blue skies. Clean. Smallish. Surfable corners from North to the South end so the crowd was spread out. It seemed the punchiest corners on the South end were in front of TB but I opted for the relative Lully calm of the Dox. Riding the Blue 9 4 AL because the Magic Dove is in the Repair Shop. Weighs a ton. Took a while to re acquaint myself with its rigidness. Struggled in the beginning but eventually Found about three okay waves – the weight of the thing really propels it down the line…

Notes : patchy clouds – smaller – but the dox was still working. got off to a slow and frustrating start – blowing wave after wave. but finally – in the last half hour I got on my mark. my last wave was a slow hazy daze- a little knee / waist hi thing that just kept going – it was like I was meandering down a river on some huck Finn raft. I managed a very long “hood ornament”. however when I got out -“ding” on the rail. off to r wood who is no longer solo but employed right proper like by Jeremiah over at Sonlight (who took the shop over from Dan who moved to Hawaii. – that was how long its been since I went to Sonlight… cchhhhhanges…

Notes : foggy drizzly but clean. nicely groomed waves chest high at the dox and no one there except me C and the wood board guy (surfing a regular longboard) finally a solid session – surfed well – with nice consistent waves- from start to finish performed well – not good mind you – but far better than I have been surfing of late. definitely so far – the best Linda session of 2021 so far

Notes : Solid waves at the dox- not to big and not to small. Not that crowded also. First half hour or so surfed pretty well and snagged some decent lefts- but then I fell into a bit of a rut. D the C arrived and I figured it was a perfect time to paddle over to the right. However the right was to steep and mackin’ – just couldn’t slot in on a good one- all in all – good sesh
