Notes : Still blown out onshore at the Mar so T and I spiraled down to SC. Small so I immediately went to the Hook. As I’m looking over the edge at tiny but clean little lines I hear a familiar little grunt behind me. I twirl around and it is none other than the DUNDER!! I was truly shocked – it had been so long since I last saw him. Anyway I suited up and decided to head paddle over to the less populated Sharks. It started to pick up almost as soon as I got in and I got a few okay rides. Then who paddles over – eating fruit as per his usual modus operandi- but the Dunder himself!! Surprised he didn’t go straight to first or second bowl. He struck up a convo with a regular and once the Dunder is “ON” is never goes off. I must admit – he told some interesting stories about surfers in SC dodging the draft in 1970 during Nam. Plus something about giving his broken boards to a guy  who repaired them and gave them to American Indians because the guy “turned Native American somewhere along the way, don’t ask me”. I guess someone should do some kind of mini- doc on the Dunder… Anyway -0 caught some okay rights – nice session

Notes : Mar was way blown out but it was offshore at the Bo so T and I headed for it. I paddled out way way out at the patch because the channel was not much going on. The patch was windy chopped up crumbly stuff – not that great so I got out after a bit. We had a great fish and chips lunch at Coast Cafe…

Notes : Cloudy clean and micro. Was gonna pass but D and several others were rolling on some clean shin high lines at the creek – emptying out right at ROCK GARDEN. I actually got one real nice right- one half way decent left before I bailed…

Notes : God damn that was great. Really low tide and it looked REALLY SMAL at the creek. But there was a pod there – including D- catching shit. So, I abandoned going up to the north end and hit the creek. Slow and frustration first half hour – but then I got my groove going. plus as the tide rose the right turned on and I was getting alot of waves – 26 in all – according to dawn patrol – so probably 15 legitimate rides. I would say ten of them were good – with some nice footwork on my part.

Notes : Clean. Clear skies. Nice little well grromedlefts at the Pandibar/ Creek. Kind of hovering around the double 4’s – but it was maybe a little too small. The first 45 minutes were very nice and score some nice tip time – great sesh
