Notes : 25th Kahuna and they set up North because Surfline predicted micro size. But it wasn’t micro size. It was actually okay in my opinion. I got mistakenly put into the 50-59 age group- but I told Roy to leave it be. Everyone in my heat (M, H, K etc etc) paddled out to the left break. I paddled to the right because there seemed to be a wave coming thru there every now and again and I would be in the pack. I managed one wave that was kind of a white water bog fest re form- and it was a hard paddle back out. Everyone else was getting waves on the other side – inside. I just waited. Obe came my way and it was great – I surfed it well – and it was a long ride. But that was it- the horn rang. 5th out of six – but I felt that ride should have netted me fourth. I wuz robbed – ageism!!

Notes : Wow – what an unexpected treat. It was overcast and misty – onshore wins. However folk were out at the creek peak. and a handful at dox. It was very small but dox was nicely groomed when the sets came thru – very glassy . Folks got out and at one point it was only three of us having the pick of the litter. surfed well – great sesh…

Notes : God looking at the South cam you woulkd think this is just like a bath tub. Just nothing coming thru. But there were actual nice wavescoming thru – almost always the left. Vewry glassy. Windless. Nice crown of only about 8 or so of us…

Notes : Who would have thunk it? Almost empty B lot at 7:55 AM on a weekend. Onshore winds. Zero people at dox. But I noticed a wave hitting every now and then – so I suited up pronto. I was there with just A and G and we had the pick of the litter. It was just baffling. Where was everybody. Sure there was onshore wind – sometimes it jacked up to what a wimpy feller might call a gust – but the waves were very very nice. I guess word got out- wishing 35 minutes – it was 16 surfers at the dox peak. Still not bad for a weekend. Then. it just died off. Gone. A little window that NEPTUNE opened up for us – like a tease – “here you go” I will giveth you this window – then surely I shall taketh it away…
